The Cranky Uncle Vaccine game aims to help individual participants become more accurately informed about vaccination and better able to identify vaccine misinformation. University of Rwanda, Rwanda Biomedical Centre, University of Melbourne, UNICEF, and the Sabin Vaccine Institute are working together on a research study to improve people’s ability to detect vaccine misinformation. The research will assess the effectiveness of the Cranky Uncle Vaccine game to teach critical thinking. See the Rwanda explanatory statement for more information about this research.
